Cost of a Uganda Primate Safari
The cost of a 10 Days Uganda Safari depends on factors such as travel season, lodge availability, and the number of travelers. On average, a luxury primate safari in Uganda ranges between US$6,500 and US$9,500 per person, depending on the selected lodges and level of customization.
This cost typically includes luxury accommodation, private transportation with an experienced safari guide, meals, park entrance fees, and activities such as chimpanzee tracking and gorilla trekking permits. Gorilla permits alone cost US$800 per person and are essential for visiting the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Many travelers choose a luxury safari because it offers exclusive experiences, personalized guiding, and comfortable accommodation in Uganda’s most beautiful locations. A well-planned 10 Day Uganda Luxury Primate Safari ensures excellent wildlife encounters while allowing you to explore the country at a relaxed pace.
Best Time for a Luxury Gorilla Safari
The best time for a luxury gorilla safari in Uganda is during the dry seasons, which typically run from June to September and December to February. During these months, the forest trails in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are easier to navigate, making gorilla trekking more comfortable.
Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park is also excellent during the dry seasons when the forest paths are less muddy and wildlife viewing conditions are ideal. Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park are particularly rewarding during this time as animals gather near water sources.
However, Uganda can be visited all year round, and the green seasons often offer fewer visitors, lush scenery, and excellent photography opportunities. No matter the season, a 10 Days Uganda Safari promises unforgettable encounters with gorillas, chimpanzees, and a wide range of African wildlife.
